The Cooperative’s top product is the traditional barrel-aged PDO feta cheese, available exclusively to the Greek market. This product is extremely popular among consumers due to its special taste and uncompromising quality. The feta cheese produced by the Kalavryta Cooperative is a product manufactured from pasteurized sheep’s and goat’s milk (collected from the wider region of Kalavryta) with high and stable quality. It ages for about three (3) months and is kept in wooden barrels with brine. It has a rich, peppery, slightly salty taste, with a variety of aromas and it is quite compact.

It is consumed as a table cheese, but is also used for salads, pies, various dishes. It is accompanied with bold white and red whines and retsina.
